The Office of the SLPPNA Publicity Secretary brings you a sensitization program on the COVID-19 on the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC). The show was aired on the 18th of April 2020 and featured several members of the SLPPNA including the Publicity Secretary herself Mrs Geneba BM Koroma Sitta Turay.

To all our SLPPNA members, friends and sympathizers.

As we are all aware, a meeting was held last month with the SLPPNA Chairman Mr. Mohamed Bah and his executives including the SLPPNA general membership informing us about the cancellation of the SLPPNA-YG event in collaboration with the DVC Inauguration that was scheduled for April 4th 2020.Β

As chairman Bah expressed the reasons for canceling our event was due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic that continues to ravage the whole world including the United states and the fourteen days State of Emergency declaration by the President of the United States President Donald Trump on all traveling and public guarding to be put on hold.

The State of Emergency declaration has just been extended for another thirty days as the country’s authorities are trying very hard to put this Pandemic under control.

In lights of the above, we are appealing to all SLPPNA members, chapters, friends and sympathizers who has bought and sold tickets to friends and the public for the event to HOLD on to those tickets as those tickets are still VALID.

The SLPPNA-YG and the DVC chapter are working together tirelessly to come up with a date to host this very important event. We will continue to update everyone as event unfold with regards to the new date for our event.

We thank you all for your understanding through this difficult times.
